Mr. O'Connor

Good afternoon!

I'm passing along several updates for March.  As always, don’t hesitate to ask any concerns or questions.

Cancellation/Closure Days

As of 2/22, the district has been closed for eight days.  The state grants six forgiveness days and allows districts to apply for three additional days.  We have quite a ways to go before we get to spring.  The district will communicate once we confirm if we must add days to our school year.

Facilities Assessment and Bond Exploration

As I mentioned last month, the district completed a comprehensive facilities assessment. It partnered with Kingscott and Clark Construction to prioritize needs and begin discussing with the community about a potential bond.  If you’d like to participate in this process, contact the district office at 989-736-6212.

Contact Information Updates

We have had challenges recently with families keeping their addresses and phone numbers current.  Please get in touch with the building where your students attend if updates need to be made.
