With the holiday season around the corner will be holding our second annual deck the halls. The grade levels will compete to have the best-decorated hallway. This will take place during a modified early release schedule on Friday, December 6th. Students will attend all their classes for the day but will be shortened to allow time at the end of the day to hang decorations.
Middle school students are having a great year when it comes to success. Both 7th and 8th-grade teams are working as a team and showing that with teamwork, great things can happen.
Middle school robotics will be competing in the state competition in the middle of December.
Can food drive was a huge success. The goal was to have one can from every student, and with many students bringing in bags of cans, we had to find extra boxes to be able to transport all the can goods. Great job, NHS!
December 13th will be a half-day with the release time for students at 11:50 for students. Winter break will start on December 23rd and will return to school on January 2nd. The end of the semester is coming quickly after with final exams being January 15th-18th.
Change to Credit Recovery
Starting for the second semester, the middle/high school will be moving away from Plato as one of the providers. As we reviewed the options, we have determined that working with either MVU or Aventa is the best option for students to prepare them for success.
Thursday, December 12th, will be the winter band and choir concert in the high school auditorium.
