Mr. Daniel O’Connor has been a dedicated member of Alcona Community Schools since the fall of 2006. He began his career teaching English and history at the middle/high school, where he also coached football, basketball, and baseball for six years. In 2012, he transitioned into administration as assistant principal and athletic director, followed by a move to elementary principal and athletic director in 2013. The following year, he returned to the middle/high school as principal and athletic director, serving in that role until transitioning to superintendent in March 2017.

Mr. O’Connor and his wife Ashlie, a local educator and former teacher at Alcona, his daughter Zoey, and son Rhys are all proud to call Alcona County their home.
