INVITATION TO BID
Alcona Community Schools will accept quotations for a new 3⁄4 Ton Truck. Quotes will be
accepted until 3 pm on Friday, November 6, 2026. No oral, telephonic, telegraphic, or
facsimile proposals will be accepted. Proposals will not be accepted after the time of closing of
bids. A copy of this bid document can also be found at alconaschools.net.
The owner reserves the right to reject any bids and waive omissions, irregularities, or
clerical errors not affecting substantial compliance with the plans and specifications.
Alcona Community Schools is exempt from Michigan Sales Tax, and exemption
certificates will be furnished upon request. Quotations shall be firm from the date of the
bid opening until the completion of the project. All bids must meet or exceed all
specifications herein. Proposals must be submitted and signed by the bidder. Two (2)
signed copies of the bid form should be addressed to the attention of:

3⁄4-Ton Truck Preferred Specifications:
● Vehicle is in New Condition
● 4WD
● Crew Cab
● 8-ft Truck Box
● 6-passenger seating
● Spray-in Bed Liner
● Gasoline Engine
Alternate items will be considered for items that meet the same standards as those listed in the
bid document. Any deviations from these specifications must be clearly identified in the
bidder’s proposal.
The proposal must include all costs necessary for furnishing and delivering the specified
vehicle, including freight and installation of any accessories.
