Earlier this week VFW members Jim Burger, Dan Richardson, Roy Williams, and Jeff Somers presented the 2020 Voice of Democracy Essay Contest awards and recognized the 1st-4th place winners. Congratulations to all the students that competed and a special thank you to the VFW post for offering this opportunity for our students. This year’s essay question was “Is this the world our Founding Fathers Envisioned?” Congratulations, Hunter Winter-1st Place ($300 Award), Grace Atkinson-2nd Place ($150 Award), Samuel Prince-3rd Place ($50 Award), and Leah Brown-4th Place ($25 Award). #TBT
