Summer programming reminders! Starts 7/28!
1) Drop off is 8.30 am and pick up is 12.30 pm.
2) Participating students are only released to the parent/guardian mentioned in the contact form (emergency and secondary emergency person)
3) Drop-off for participants for the MS/HS programming will be at the middle school entrance due to construction at the high school entrance.
4) All K-3rd graders are participating in the programming offered at the elementary school building. All 4th-12th graders are participating in the programming offered at the middle/high school building.
5) Breakfast and a light lunch will be provided. Students may bring their breakfast and lunch if preferred.
6) Field trips will take place twice a week. Parents/guardians will be notified each Monday of upcoming trips via a flyer sent home with their student.
7) Please make sure that your students arrive timely, as we will depart for field trips right after breakfast.
8) Students should bring a refillable water bottle daily. With plenty of outdoor activities, hydration is important.

🥁Drumroll, please! We’re excited to welcome Mr. Louisignau as our new Middle and High School Band Teacher at Alcona! Come meet him at Open House on August 19th and help us give him a warm Tiger welcome. Attention 8th–12th grade band students: Be sure to mark your calendars! Marching Band Camp is scheduled for August 21-22 from 10am to 4pm. 6th-12th grade Optional Chromebook Material Fees are now being accepted. Fees can be paid Tuesday-Thursday from 8am-3pm. Enter the school through the Middle School entrance. When you ring the doorbell just state you are here to pay your Chromebook Material Fee. Go to the main office and they can direct you to the technology room.
