Wrestling AND Boys JV/Varsity Basketball kick off this week!

Just a couple reminders for elementary students…

Ms. Luce's anatomy/physiology classdisected sheep brains recently. Students were tasked with labeling structures of the brain, functions, and draw comparisions between sheep and human brains. Students loved learning about neurobiology!
Today 11th and 12th grade students toured Kalitta Air to learn more about their A&P Apprenticeship Program, diverse career opportunities within the aviation mechanics field, essential skills needed for a career at Kalitta, and see how high school and college coursework relates to Kalitta with real world applications. A representative from the Kalitta Air Apprenticeship Program, an Alpena Community College English professor, and our ACS Career Navigator guided students through the tour and connected career opportunities and job skills to what students are learning while in high school. This opportunity was provided in partnership with Kalitta Air, ACC, and the Marshall Plan for Talent Grant. #AlconaSchools #TigerPride
