Staff, students, parents, and community members are invited to our school forest open house on Saturday, September 18 at 9:00am. We will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and community trail walk. Meet at our school forest entrance off Barlow Road (just north of the Alcona Health Center). Join us in celebrating the grand opening of our school and community forest!
The Cross Country Team performed well tonight at Shepherd. The HS ran against 32 teams & MS against 26. Cole Upper received a medal for 11th place out of 176 runners. Several personal records were made. So proud of the efforts of each athlete.

The Alcona Cross Country Team had a successful meet at Ogemaw Heights High School tonight. Sara Decker received a medal. The next meet is Wednesday, September 8th, at Shepherd High School.

5th year Early College students: Connect with Mrs. VK to set up your weekly check-in. Mrs. VK will be meeting with you during Mrs. Cordes' maternity leave. These weekly check-ins will most likely be virtual until her return.
Students taking a college class (except for the tech series) who did not pick up books at open house last night should plan to pick up books Thursday or Friday this week. The remaining books will be in Mrs. VK's office on Monday morning. Students who are unsure of their college schedule should check their WebAdvisor accounts through ACC or the class statement mailed to you last spring/summer. If you don't know your WebAdvisor login, call ACC's tech help line for assistance.

She is located in the old Tiger Clinic Office. If you are interested in continuing your Support Services, or would like to enroll in new services, please stop in.
