Today HS students had the opportunity to meet experts and tour the DNR Fisheries Research Station in Alpena. This career experience allowed students to meet fisheries biologists, technicians, captains, etc. Students even got to see the different types of fish aging up close!
Victory Donuts! The Knowledge Bowl team split their matches today with a 105 - 90 win over Mio and a 50 - 100 loss to Atlanta. Gabe Froehner was the high scorer contributing 75 points overall with Logan Bates adding another 50. Matches are taped live at WBKB-TV Channel 11 in Alpena.

Building Early Emotional Skills for Parents: Building Early Emotional Skills is a free eight-week course that helps parents and caregivers of children ages 0-3 to develop the skills needed to support the social and emotional development of their child. This course is online and run in a self-paced, cohort style class. It is expected to take approximately one hour per week to complete the course content. Winter course begins on January 20th.
