Congratulations Keegan Ritchie on a great year, unfortunately we didn't qualify for states. You battled through sickness and made it to the blood round. Your hard work and determination will surely be rewarded next year with a trip to states. We are so proud of you.

100 Days Smarter! We've officially hit 100 days of school, and it got us thinking... what was life like 100 years ago in 1925? 🤔💭 📚 School looked a little different! 🖍 No smartboards—just chalk and slates! 🏫 Many students learned in one-room schoolhouses. 🥪 No hot lunch—most students brought food in tin pails! 🚗 Life outside of school was different too! 💰 A loaf of bread was 9 cents & gas was 21 cents per gallon. 🎶 No streaming—families gathered around the radio for news and music! ⚾️ Babe Ruth was the biggest name in baseball! A LOT has changed in the last 100 years, but one thing stays the same—our students are working hard and making each day count! Happy 100th Day of School, Alcona Tigers! #alconaschools #100thday 💯✨
