This week Alcona's biology students went to explore the Hammond Bay Biological Station. There, they learned about Great Lakes science and the many different professions that come together to successfully operate a research station. Such jobs include computer scientists, chemists, research biologists, data base managers, engineers, scuba divers, communication professionals, interns and so much more. The trip opened the door to learn about future job opportunities and allowed students to be part of, and contribute to, current biological research at Hammond Bay. #alconaschools #tigerpride
ACS is seeking a Master’s level school social work intern (MSW). Bachelors level candidates may also be considered based on experience. This placement is a school-year internship under individual supervision for the purpose of providing experience and guidance in individual counseling, group work, prevention methods and clinical diagnosis in a school setting.
