Congratulations to our December Tiger of the Month, Mr. Jesse Smith, and to all the team members nominated! Tiger of the Month nominations are made by peers and serve as a way to recognize a team member that goes above and beyond. One winner is randomly selected each month from the nominations. Mr. Smith was nominated by his peers for going above and beyond and always making a point to spread positivity to everyone he encounters. We are excited to kick off this new team member recognition opportunity! #AlconaSchools #TigerPride #TigeroftheMonth

Today 11th and 12th grade students toured Kalitta Air to learn more about their A&P Apprenticeship Program, diverse career opportunities within the aviation mechanics field, essential skills needed for a career at Kalitta, and see how high school and college coursework relates to Kalitta with real world applications. A representative from the Kalitta Air Apprenticeship Program, an Alpena Community College English professor, and our ACS Career Navigator guided students through the tour and connected career opportunities and job skills to what students are learning while in high school. This opportunity was provided in partnership with Kalitta Air, ACC, and the Marshall Plan for Talent Grant. #AlconaSchools #TigerPride
