March 2nd: ACC Scholarships (only students going to ACC)
March 20th: Local scholarships due!
Dual Enrollment and Early Middle College Info Night will be held in the cafeteria at 5pm. If you can't make it tonight, have your student see Mrs. VK later this week or next week.
Seniors & Parents! FAFSA is due March 1st. This is the last week to get it done!! The FAFSA needs to be filled out for colleges to tell you what financial aid you qualify for. This is NOT a commitment to accept aid or go to college. It will allow you to make an informed decision.

Alcona Tool Cats welcomed representative Kelsey Hanson from ESI (Employment Services, Inc.) for a demonstration of their competition robot. ESI is a long time supporter of the Alcona robotics program. The compamy continued their generosity with a $1,000 donation. Thank you, ESI!

Yearbook early sales start this week! Sales for both the MS and HS yearbooks will take place this week, February 17th - 21st, during both lunches. Prepaying for your yearbook ensures that you will have a book AND gets you a nice discount! MS book = $15 for prepaid sale; (price will increase to $20 in the spring) HS book = $35 for prepaid sale; (price will increase to $40 in the spring) Be sure to reserve your copy as only LIMITED quantities of yearbooks will be available in the spring at FULL price.
