April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time for communities across the country to come together to raise awareness and take action to prevent child abuse and neglect. At Alcona Schools, we recognize the importance of supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. Earlier this month, Dr. Morris, Mr. Bouchard, and Mr. O'Connor participated in the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign—a national effort to promote child safety—by placing pinwheels as a symbol of the joy and innocence of childhood. These pinwheels serve as a reminder that every child deserves a safe, healthy, and happy upbringing. Together, we can work to build a stronger, more supportive community where children thrive. 💙 #childabusepreventionmonth #pinwheelsforprevention #tigerpride #alconaschools
