What a weekend for Alcona High School Wrestling. We started off on Saturday with the boys and all of our boys wrestled very well Mason Norling took 5th Place. Adalai Liebler took sixth place. Uriah Peoples was consolation bracket runner up and Keegan Ritchie is a two time champion of the Grayling Don Ferguson tournament 26 Team Tournament. Awesome job Boys. Then comes Sunday, and all five of our girls make it to the semifinals. Ella Gehring ended up taking second Place, Khloe Boyd taking third place and Amelia Sommer taking third place as well all five of our girls wrestling great. Emma Schroeder and Kaidance Barnes both won matches and wrestled awesome. As a team we finish sixth out of 27. That is amazing considering we only had five girls. Congratulations to all the girls and to Coach Sommer and Coach Monnier.
