High School Track Meet in Fairview Cancelled today, May 2!
The District Health Department will be at the MS/HS on Tuesday, May 9th to do vision screenings on 7th and 9th grade students. Not every 7th and 9th grade student is scheduled to be screened, any parent or guardian that wishes to opt out of the screening for their child, can call the MS/HS office at 989-736-8534 to see if their student is scheduled.

Reminder: Alcona Elementary is hosting their Kindergarten Round-up on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 8:30am and 12:30pm. Parents and guardians of children age 5 by Sept 1, 2023 can RSVP for one of the time slots by calling 989-736-8146 or emailing leet@alconaschoos.net or achtabowskik@alconaschools.net. If your child was born Sept 1, 2018 - Dec 1, 2018 please contact the elementary office regarding a kindergarten waiver. Parents/guardians and soon to be kindergartners will be able to meet the teachers, visit classrooms, get family resources, and start completing the enrollment paperwork. Bring your child's birth certificate, immunization records/waiver from the Health Department, and proof of residency (drivers license, utility bills, rent/mortgage receipt, etc).
