100 Days Smarter! We've officially hit 100 days of school, and it got us thinking... what was life like 100 years ago in 1925? 🤔💭
📚 School looked a little different!
🖍 No smartboards—just chalk and slates!
🏫 Many students learned in one-room schoolhouses.
🥪 No hot lunch—most students brought food in tin pails!
🚗 Life outside of school was different too!
💰 A loaf of bread was 9 cents & gas was 21 cents per gallon.
🎶 No streaming—families gathered around the radio for news and music!
⚾️ Babe Ruth was the biggest name in baseball!
A LOT has changed in the last 100 years, but one thing stays the same—our students are working hard and making each day count! Happy 100th Day of School, Alcona Tigers! #alconaschools #100thday 💯✨
