Due to today's school closing and poor weather and road conditions, the Winterfest dance will be cancelled and rescheduled for next Friday, February 24. A decision about the basketball games scheduled for later today has not yet been made. Information about the games will be sent out soon.

ACS is excited to partner with local organizations for a K-5 Winter Safety Program during Winterfest week! The purpose of this program is to promote winter safety to all our students. Each grade will rotate through 6 different sessions facilitated by local organizations: Weather Safety, Road Safety, Snow Safety, Fire Safety, Water Safety, and Recreation Safety. February 17th Winterfest Update: The Winterfest assembly will begin at approximately 12:45pm in the auditorium. The Winterfest basketball games vs. Charlton Heston Academy kick-off at 4:30pm with Varsity Girls, 6pm JV Boys, and 7:15pm Varsity Boys. The presentation of the Winterfest court and crowning of the King and Queen will take place during half-time of the Varsity Boys Basketball Game. The high school Snowball Dance will begin immediately following the Boys Varsity Basketball Game and will end at 12am. Cost to attend the dance is $8 per person. Students must enter the dance through the main doors in the high school lobby. Winterfest guest passes are due to Ms. Thomas no later than February 14 at 3pm. 2023 Winterfest Court: Freshman-Cole Upper & Makalya Prince; Sophomore-Kelvin Travis & Piper Whitefield; Junior-Jacob Renchenski & Liberty Kimball; Senior-DJ Howe & Emily Lobaugh, Ashton Rigby & Savannah Wright, Owen Borsvold & Emalee Dorr, Logan Patterson & Kaitlin Nardi, and Jack Goldstrom & Blaire Dellar.
