Alcona Track did extremely well today at Regionals in Inland Lakes. The boys finished 2nd overall and girls finished fourth. There were many victories and a few unexpected surprises! Go Tigers!!

Ms. Luce's Environmental Science and Biology classes participated in a Adopt-A-Highway on Wednesday. The students were challenged to to pick up as much trash as they could with the promise of treats for the class with the heaviest trash bags. The classes collected an amazing 73.6 lbs. of trash! Thank you to the students for helping to keep Alcona clean!

Athletics Week of 5/22
Our hard working garden club produced over 20 pounds of lettuce, spinach, radishes, and salad turnips for our school cafeteria. We are learning the value of each seasons crops. Bring on the spinach smoothies! Summer crops are going into hoop house and community garden will be prepped next week.
